Terms of Use

1. Eligibility and Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Site for a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Purpose of the Site

DezinerLux is a professional discovery, directory, education, and community platform serving interior design, architecture, construction, home, product, real estate, and the broader built environment. The Site may feature professionals, companies, contractors, tradespeople, vendors, manufacturers, organizations, events, resources, projects, articles, and other industry information.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, inclusion on the Site is not a certification, guarantee, recommendation, or endorsement. Users are responsible for confirming licenses, insurance, qualifications, pricing, availability, references, safety practices, and suitability before hiring, purchasing from, partnering with, or relying on a listed person or organization.

3. Changes to These Terms or the Site

We may update these Terms from time to time and may modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or add to any part of the Site. Continued use after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

4. Accounts, Applications, and Listings

Some features may require an account, application, profile, or submission. You agree to provide accurate information, update changes promptly, protect any credentials, and submit only information and materials you have the right to use.

Submitting an application or profile does not guarantee approval, publication, placement, visibility, membership, partnership, or continued inclusion. DezinerLux may verify information, request documentation, edit for clarity or formatting, reject a submission, remove a listing, or suspend access when reasonably necessary.

5. Directory Information and Third-Party Content

Directory information may come from professionals and businesses, public sources, third-party data providers, or our editorial team. We do not warrant that every listing, credential, location, price, link, description, availability, or other third-party detail is complete, current, or error-free.

Professionals, vendors, advertisers, partners, and other third parties are independent from DezinerLux. We are not a party to agreements between users and third parties and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, products, services, statements, disputes, or transactions.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not violate laws, regulations, court orders, or third-party rights.
• Do not submit false, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, obscene, or unlawful material.
• Do not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, or other rights.
• Do not upload malware or harmful code.
• Do not scrape, harvest, copy, index, or collect Site data through automated means without written permission.
• Do not interfere with Site security, users, or normal operation.
• Do not misrepresent identity, affiliation, credentials, reviews, or experience.
• Do not manipulate rankings, reviews, engagement, or directory placement.
• Do not use Site content or data to build or train a competing directory, database, artificial intelligence model, or commercial service without written permission.

7. Community and Communication Features

The Site may offer forms, reviews, messaging, event submissions, or other communication features. You are responsible for what you submit and for your interactions with others. We may review, moderate, refuse, restrict, or remove content when we believe it violates these Terms, creates legal or safety risk, or harms the Site or community.

8. User Submissions and License

Submissions include text, business information, biographies, photographs, logos, videos, project images, reviews, comments, feedback, and other materials you provide. You retain ownership of your Submissions.

By providing a Submission, you grant DezinerLux and its service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, edit, format, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and promote that Submission as reasonably necessary to operate, market, and improve DezinerLux services.

You represent that you own the Submission or have required licenses, releases, and permissions; that it is accurate and lawful; and that any person, property, project, brand, or creative work shown may lawfully be displayed and used as submitted.

9. DezinerLux Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, design, organization, branding, graphics, selection, compilation, software, and features are owned by or licensed to Stacy Nicole Interiors, Inc. and are protected by intellectual-property laws. "DezinerLux," its logos, taglines, and related marks are trademarks or service marks of Stacy Nicole Interiors, Inc.

10. Copyright Complaints

If you believe Site content infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the contact in Section 21 identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material and location, your contact information, your signature, and statements of good-faith belief and accuracy required by applicable law.

11. Paid Services, Featured Pro Memberships, Billing, and Cancellation

The Site may offer paid listings, featured placement, sponsorships, advertising, memberships, tickets, or other paid services. Additional terms displayed at purchase also apply.

At launch, the Featured Pro Listing is offered at $29 per month or $290 per year. Prices, features, and promotional offers may change prospectively. Any price change will not retroactively alter a period already paid for.

Featured Pro subscriptions are processed through Stripe and automatically renew at the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. By purchasing a recurring plan, you authorize Stripe and DezinerLux to charge the payment method on file for each renewal and applicable taxes or fees.

You may cancel before the next renewal date to stop future recurring charges. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at checkout, cancellation does not produce a refund or prorated credit for the current paid billing period, and paid benefits may remain available through the end of that period.

Fees are generally nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law. We may suspend paid visibility or related benefits for failed payment, chargeback, suspected fraud, nonpayment, or violation of these Terms.

Paid placement may affect visibility, but it does not guarantee leads, sales, ranking, attendance, engagement, media coverage, or endorsement. Eligibility and verification standards continue to apply to paid listings.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party websites, apps, social platforms, products, services, payment processors, or scheduling tools. These third parties are not controlled by DezinerLux, and their own terms and privacy practices govern your use of them.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in the DezinerLux Privacy Policy.

14. No Professional Advice

Site content is provided for general informational and educational purposes and is not legal, financial, medical, engineering, architectural, code-compliance, licensing, construction, safety, or other professional advice.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, LISTINGS, PRODUCTS, FEATURES, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." DEZINERLUX, STACY NICOLE INTERIORS, INC., AND THEIR AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS DISCLAIM EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, SECURITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEZINERLUX, STACY NICOLE INTERIORS, INC., AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR USE ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for claims arising from the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount paid directly to DezinerLux for the relevant service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or US$100.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DezinerLux, Stacy Nicole Interiors, Inc., and their officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, suppliers, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your misuse of the Site, your Submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access, remove content or listings, or discontinue services when reasonably necessary, including for Terms violations, suspected fraud, security concerns, legal requirements, nonpayment, or risks to users or the Site.

19. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent a dispute may be brought in court, the parties consent to the state and federal courts serving Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally and allow 30 days for a response.

20. General Terms

These Terms and any additional terms expressly incorporated into them form the entire agreement regarding the Site. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, fiduciary, or franchise relationship.
