Curtis J. Moody, FAIA, NOMAC, was the founder and chairman of Moody Nolan, the nationally influential architecture firm he established in 1982. Over a career spanning nearly five decades, Moody helped reshape the profession through design excellence, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and a sustained commitment to expanding opportunity for underrepresented architects. His work and leadership contributed to hundreds of design honors and major civic, educational, cultural, sports, healthcare, and community projects across the United States. Moody died on October 13, 2024, at age 73.
