Anthony Akindele, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, is the founder and managing principal of Nia Architects. Since founding the Chicago practice in 1996, he has led the design, construction, rehabilitation, and management of municipal, commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential projects. His work is grounded in the belief that architecture can strengthen neighborhoods, create sustainable living environments, and produce community spaces that people value. Akindele brings more than three decades of professional experience to public, private, and community-centered work.
